Bring your own food · 35/1 Pai Walking Street
Bought dinner on the walking street? Bring it in. We bring the plates.
This is the house rule people like best: buy whatever you want from the stalls outside — or carry in a box from any restaurant in town — sit down at our table, and we bring plates, cutlery and water. You order a drink; the rest is yours. No corkage, no service charge, no fuss. Around 60 wines by the glass, cocktails, beer, mocktails, juice and coffee to go with it.

How it works
Walk in with your food. Tell the counter how many you are. We seat you — street tables, the air-conditioned room inside, or the lounge and balcony upstairs — and bring plates, cutlery, napkins and a jug of water. Order one drink per person from the menu (alcoholic or not). Eat. Stay as long as you like.
What you can bring
Anything edible: khao soi and skewers from the stalls, a pizza from across the street, a box of mango sticky rice, a birthday cake. We only ask that it is food you bought — we are not able to cook or reheat it for you. Our own kitchen does small plates to share (cheese, cold cuts, grilled sausage, olives, nuts) if you want something to go with the wine.
The one rule: a drink each
One drink per person keeps the tables turning on the walking street and pays for the plates and the washing up. It does not have to be alcohol — a mocktail, a fresh juice, a coffee or a tea all count. Children with their parents are welcome; a juice is their drink.
Why we do it
Pai Walking Street is one of the best places in Thailand to eat for 40–80 baht a plate, and it has almost nowhere to sit. We have two floors of tables in the middle of it. Pairing a 120 ml glass of wine with a paper cone of grilled chicken is, honestly, the best meal in town.
Where to stay so this becomes your routine
The Arch Casa is a three-minute walk from our door, so the stall-to-table evening is a nightly routine rather than a plan. Our neighbours at BestHotelPai list it with five other stays in town, booked direct with the owners.
