名字的由来

来自德语 Wermut，苦艾。一种苦味草本，浸在酒里，酒便得了它的名字。

给这家店起名字，花了我们很长时间。选了几个，又全都扔掉了。

我们的问题是，想早点开门。早餐、咖啡。可是到了上午快中午的时候，总有人想喝一杯葡萄酒，而在这里，十一点之前不能卖酒。有一阵子我们被这条规定弄得很烦。后来才发现，西班牙人早就给这个钟点起了名字。他们叫它 la hora del vermut。味美思时光。

在那边，休息日的午饭前，人们坐在一起，点一杯冰镇味美思和一小碟橄榄，然后聊天。没有人是为了喝醉。那只是街坊之间打招呼的方式。他们已经这样过了一百年。

这个词本身也不是我们想出来的什么巧思。它是一种植物的名字，来自德语 Wermut，苦艾，一种长在干旱土地上的苦味草本。在有冰箱之前，人们把它浸在酒里，用来保存酒，也当药用。酒就得了这种草的名字。

把它做成生意的人是 Carpano，在都灵，1786 年。都灵也是一座咖啡馆早上卖咖啡、晚上卖烈一点的东西的城市，由来已久。知道了这些，我们就不再假装自己发明了什么。我们只是把一座城市做了 240 年的事，搬到了拜县的一条步行街上。

在这里，味美思时光是 11:00 到 14:00。不必等到天黑。

那是都灵的故事。在这里，每天 17:00 开门 — 没有早餐，也不在白天营业。
